We use Google Authentication via Firebase to allow you to log in. When you log in, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your display name
  • Your Google user ID (UID)

b. Uploaded Content

You may upload images of your clothing to use Lumera's outfit planning features. These images are:

  • Stored securely in Google Cloud Storage
  • Associated with your user account
  • Not shared publicly or with other users

c. Location Data

We determine your approximate location using your IP address to provide weather-based outfit suggestions.
We do not use GPS or store precise location data.

d. Automatically Collected Data

We may collect anonymized technical data, such as:

  • Device type and OS version
  • App usage logs
  • Crash reports

This helps us improve app performance and stability.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Authenticate users securely using Google
  • Store and classify your clothing images
  • Use Gemini API (by Google/OpenAI) to analyze image content for outfit suggestions (images are not retained by Gemini/OpenAI)
  • Provide weather-based outfit recommendations
  • Improve app features and personalization

All data transfers are encrypted in transit and at rest.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
We only use:

  • Google services (Authentication & Cloud Storage)
  • Gemini API (for image classification)

All external API requests are securely encrypted.
Your data is never shared with advertisers or other third parties.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access or delete your account and data
  • Opt out of location-based recommendations
  • Contact us with privacy-related concerns
